dodgeball.com :: location-based social software for mobile devices

Wow. Sign up for dodgeball and then you can use your cell-phone to broadcast your location to friends, or friends-of-friends. Discussed as a way to let everyone know "Hey, I'm at ", but could be used for whatever. Just an interesting use of technology. Interesting that everyone is up-in-arms about privacy, and yet at the same time we have stuff like this.

"Hey... I'm at RedRobin" and everyone w/in 10 blocks knows and can come hang out with you if they want. Only available in a few cities.
